Suga of the Korean pop supergroup BTS has fully recovered from COVID-19, his agency confirmed, January 3, Monday.
“Suga was released from isolation at noon as he was confirmed to have fully recovered from COVID-19,” agency Big Hit Music said in a statement.
Despite being fully vaccinated, the rapper has tested positive for the virus last December 24 after returning home from Los Angeles, where the Korean group staged large-scale live concerts from late November to early December of 2021.
BTS members RM and Jin also contracted the virus. They are expected to be declared fully recovered on the next days.
