CHART: ‘Closer’ dominates Hot 100 for four weeks; ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ takes no. 10

  The Chainsmokers and Halsey rules the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks with hit collab ‘Closer’; Meanwhile, ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ by Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez moves to the tenth spot according to Billboard.

  ‘Closer’, the first Hot 100 lead by EDM duo The Chainsmokers which featured alternative pop singer/songwriter Halsey, spends its 4 week lead at the Hot 100 dated September 24. ‘Closer’ also leads the Digital Songs chart for five weeks now with 199,000 downloads sold.

  Charlie Puth’s ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ featuring Selena Gomez moves 2 spots higher, lifting 12-10. The song places at no. 4 on Digital Songs chart and pushes 13-12 on Streaming songs.

  The collab song is Puth’s second Hot 100 top 10 and first as a lead artist. He previously reached the top as featured artist on Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ which spend 12 weeks at no. 1 last year.
