British rock band Coldplay has teamed up with American singer Selena Gomez for a new song entitled, ‘Let Somebody Go,’ October 4, Monday.
On her Twitter account, Gomez has posted a snippet of the duet from the band’s upcoming album. The video was seen with technicolor version of planet Earth rotating in space, surrounded by dozens of stars.
In the brief video teaser, the singer-actress and frontman Chris Martin were heard singing lines “When I called the mathematicians and I asked them to explain/ They said love is only equal to the pain.” It was accompanied by a pop instrumental background.
There’s no announcement yet on when to officially release the new track though it was slated to appear on Coldplay’s forthcoming album ‘Music of Spheres’ set for release on October 15.
