The Cranberries releases hit single for Dolores O’Riordan’s death anniversary

    To commemorate their former member, the late Dolores O’Riordan, Irish band The Cranberries released their first song included in the final album “In the End,” on Tuesday, her first death anniversary.

    “We remembered how Dolores had been so energized by the prospect of making this record and getting back out on the road to play the songs live, and realized that the most meaningful thing to do was to finish the album we had started with her,” the group said.

    The members of the band: Fergal Lawler, Noel Hogan and Mike Hogan finished the album consists of 11 tracks using the demo vocals O’Riordan completed in December 2017.

    The band disclosed the new track ahead of its album’s April schedule. They also announced their split after three years together. “It was a very emotional process for us. Knowing that we would never get to play these songs live made it even more difficult,” the added.

    The Cranberries are known for their hit singles namely, “Zombie,” “Linger”, and “Dreams.”
