December Avenue sings about love in its best forms in “Saksi Ang Langit”

  Fresh from their successful Canadian and American tours, December Avenue launched a new single titled “Saksi Ang Langit.”
  
  Penned by Jet Danao and Zel Bautista, “Saksi Ang Langit” is a song that can be an ode to the love between a parent and child, a serenade to romantic love between two soulmates, and even an expression of self-love.
  
  “Kung nasa happy relationship ka, you’ll fall even more in love. Kung single ka, mas maiinlove ka sa non-existent or future partner mo. And kung wala kang balak [ma-in love], it boosts self-love,” says the indie-pop/alternative rock band.

  Its light, slow, and feel-good melody aims to make the listeners feel warm with its promise of assurance, vow of certainty, and hope for the future.
  
  Different from their usual past songs about painful experiences, the song is also the frontrunner of their upcoming work—a glimpse of what the band has in store for fans.
  
  The 5-pience band is composed of Zel Bautista on vocals and guitars, Jem Manuel on guitars, Don Gregorio on bass, Jet Danao on drums and backing vocals, and Gelo Cruz on keyboards and backing vocal.

  They have grown a loyal following with their hit songs such as “Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig,” “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw,” and “Kahit ‘Di Mo Alam.”
