  Pop star Demi Lovato recently celebrated her 29th birthday by letting go of ‘Melon Cake’ through a music video, August 20, Friday.

  “The song is me saying goodbye to melon cake. It was a big step for me, and I wanted to celebrate it,” Lovato said in a press statement.

  The music video opens with a child in wonders of indulging in a real cake on which Lovato explained int he past that their family did not have the luxury of having a birthday cake on past birthday celebrations.

  “Melon Cake” comes from Lovato’s seventh studio album Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over.
