Pop star and singer Ariana Grande won her first Grammy award on February 10, Sunday, but she did not attend to receive it personally following a dispute with the producer of the show.
On her Twitter account, Grande described her award as “wild and beautiful.” “I know I’m not there tonight. “Trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked.” she added.

Grande won the Best Pop Vocal Album award for her album “Sweetener,” where Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Pink and Camila Cabello were co-competitors.
Grande accused Ken Ehrlich, the Grammys telecast executive producer, lied about the discussions on her performance on Sunday’s awards. While Ehrlich fired back and said the Associated Press, “As it turned out, when we finally got to the point where we thought maybe it would work, she felt it was too late for her to pull something together for sure.”
