  English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, together with her husband, has announced the birth of their first child, May 2, Sunday.

  The news was posted through an Instagram story by husband Caspar Jopling. “Mum and baby both healthy and happy :) Extremely grateful,” he wrote.

  

  “I don’t ever address the public attention that comes with Ellie’s job. But during this magical and personal moment, we would really appreciate being able to enjoy our privacy .. thank you x.” Jopling added.

  Ellie Goulding became popular because of her chart-topping singles namely ‘Anything Can Happen’ and ‘Love Me Like You Do.’
