Ely Buendia clarifies Eraserheads reunion tweet, Raymund Marasigan thinks same way

  After tweeting a possible Eraserheads reunion when Vice President Leni Robredo files candidacy for the highest position, Ely Buendia is now clarifying his remark, October 13, Wednesday.

  In a Zoom group interview with show biz reporters, published through the Inquirer, Buendia considered that Robredo tweet as a kind of joke. He, then clarified that he has utmost admiration and respect for Robredo. “That answer was far from a political post. I do respect and admire Leni. If I were to vote, she’s my top candidate right now,” he said.

  On the other hand, former band member Raymund Marasigan has also expressed his opinion about the matter. “Sometimes, the meaning is beyond the tweet. Personally, I don’t think about it politically. I thought it was funny,” he said in an episode of ‘Offstage Hang’ podcast on Sunday, October 3.

  “If it’s anything about the ‘Heads playing together, my policy with my management is to tell me about it when I’m ready to sign and rehearse,” Marasigan added.
