GOT7 to leave JYP Entertainment

  Reports are circulating in South Korea that the K-pop group GOT7 is set to leave their label, JYP Entertainment, January 10, Sunday.

  After seven years of residence in the said label, the members of the K-pop group will not be renewing their contracts with the company.

  “The GOT7 members are very close. They agreed on staying together, but they disagreed on the choice of their agency. After multiple discussions with the company, they decided to part ways.” A report stated.

  “The members care a lot about GOT7. Though they will each promote separately, they agreed to make time when GOT7 reunites,” it added.

  JYP Entertainment is still verifying on which agency the members are in negotiation with.
