American singer-songwriter Halsey has revealed that she has been diagnosed with multiple health condition after being hospitalized for anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction, May 10, Tuesday.
The singer took Instagram to update her fans about her condition which started almost a year since welcoming their first baby boy Ender in July 2021.
In a series of stories, Halsey narrated that she has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Sjogren’s Syndrome, POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. After consulting numerous doctors, they are still looking for the root cause of her sickness.
“It could be potentially another autoimmune disease, and I’ve known I’ve had autoimmune issues for most of my life, especially having endometriosis, but it’s kind of been exacerbated since I had Ender,” she said.
Halsey assured fans that she is currently on a treatment plan and set to perform on the upcoming tour. “I’m really excited and I’m really confident that I’ll be able to do it in a way that’s healthy where I can perform my best for all of you,” she said.
