HEY JUNE! releases first official single ‘Panahon’

• The emerging Pinoy band HEY JUNE! has released their first official track entitled ‘Panahon,’ January 1, Saturday.

  ‘Panahon’ was dropped right after the introductory release of ‘Just a Hit’ on December 23. The song references Pinoy pop culture in its lyrics accompanied with catchy melody. It was described as going back to childhood and coming of age memories. The song also tackles about how some memories are worth coming back to and moving forward.

  Composed of vocalists Jim Mase (Guitars, Synth, and Songwriter) and Earl Paglinawan (Guitars) with Coey Ballesteros (Bass and Back up vocals) and Aci Fodra (Drums), the four-piece band is one of the newest Filipino bands formed this 2021.

  In a press release, band members said that they had lived their passion for music with their own creative pursuits – restrictions and all. Hey June! has been providing the perfect combination of great and catchy music that is indeed a refreshing addition to the ever-growing pantheon of OPM sound.
