After honeymoon, Moira dela Torre vows to reduce plastic use

  During their honeymoon, Moira and her husband Jason Marvin enjoyed the clear waters of El Nido, Palawan and Maldives. This is the very reason why Moira will start her new advocacy to reduce plastic consumption.

  On her Instagram account, Moira expressed awe with regards to the cleanliness in the Palawan destination. “During our honeymoon in El Nido & Maldives, we fell in love w our country & our planet all over again… Not once did we see plastic on any of the islands in the 5 days we spent there.”

  She is asking for recommendations on how to become zero-waste and how to have a plastic-free lifestyle. Netizens answered her positively and gave her tips.

  “Wouldn’t it break your heart too if I told you that I did find plastic in El Nido? But one that was from another country, tucked underneath the corals?” Moira added.
