ICYMI: Marcelito Pomoy performs “Beauty and the Beast” for AGT finals; falls on 5th place

• Marcelito Pomoy had performed the famous track “Beauty and the Beast” channeling its original singers Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson in a “doble kara” style for his final act on America’s Got Talent.

  His performance made the judges in a standing ovation except for Simon Cowell who stressed that Pomoy would have done something less predictable. However, Cowell praised Pomoy saying that his performance was better than the semi-finals.

  “I really don’t need to win this contest because for me I am already a winner..For in your hearts I can feel how all feel…I feel that I win your hearts…so I am already a winner.” he said.

  “But if I won this contest it’s gonna be a big opportunity for me to share the prize money to all the needy.. So still hoping and praying for being the champion of this contest,” he added.

  Marcelito Pomoy was the grand champion on the “Pilipinas Got Talent” in 2011.
