  The 20-year-old pop singer Shawn Mendes dropped an emotional cover of Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” combined with his 2016 hit “Treat You Better” on his live MTV Unplugged according to Billboard.

  Aside from his emotional cover of “Use Somebody,” he also did an acoustic guitar-driven version of his hit “Lost in Japan.”

  The “Lost in Japan” rendition is described to have chill vibes without the heavy drum beats. The stripped-down version of the single made Mendes’ velvety vocals shine through.
