Jay-R shares music and married life amid COVID-19 quarantine

• Despite the quarantine, R&B singer Jay-R continues to create music and at the same time promote artists under his own record label named “Homeworkz.”

  “What’s great is that I can still create more music and videos even while in quarantine,” Jay-R described the online show and collaborations that they are doing. They are also accepting song requests from the viewers.

  “We’re continuing to put out content. The live shows are affected, so we have to find other avenues online, where the majority of the people are. It’s a passion, so we will keep at it. We will figure out ways for our artists to put out new music,” he added.

  On married life, Jay-R said, “We’re both artists and we have sporadic schedules. Usually, our schedules are the opposite: She’s home when I’m not and I’m home when she’s not here. But because of the quarantine, we get to stay together and spend more time with each other.”
