The rock band Journey, together with their Filipino vocalist Arnel Pineda, had performed the hit song “Don’t Stop Believin'” as part of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) fundraiser for COVID-19 response.
Their performance was seen on the band’s YouTube channel. Because of compliance with the necessary precautions on their respective countries, the band performed from their respective homes.
Randy Jackson, the bassist who recently reunited with the band, was also featured in the virtual concert. And along with Journey, other artists also joined the UNICEF’s cause, namely Cher, Rod Stewart, Salma Hayek, and Sting. Filipino artists such as Christian Bautista, Morissette Amon, and Rico Blanco also participated the campaign.
