Kenny Rogers dies at 81

Actor, singer and Grammy award-winning balladeer Kenny Rogers dies of natural causes on Friday night. He was 81.
According to the family representative named Keith Hagan, Rogers peacefully died at their home in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He was under hospice care upon death, she said The Associated Press.
The husky voice artist was known for his jazz, country, folk and pop songs. With his persona as “The Gambler,” he made hits popular such as “Lady,” “Lucille,” “Through the Years,” “She Believes in Me,” and “Islands in the Stream.”
The Rogers family is planning a private necrological service to respond from COVID-19 emergency concerns. A public memorial will be held soon.
Donors and benefactors can donate to the COVID-19 relief efforts through MusiCares and Recording Academy to help music creators and professionals without work during the coronavirus pandemic.
