Lady Gaga confirms role in ‘Joker 2’

  “Bad Romance” singer and “House of Gucci” actress Lady Gaga is set to play Harley Quinn in the upcoming Joker musical sequel.
  The sequel is called “Joker: Folie à Deux,” and the latter is defined as a transmitted psychosis or delusional disorder from one person to another.

  On August 5, the singer/actress announced her casting on her official social media accounts through a short clip, teasing the musical film. She is also to star alongside lead actor Joaquin Phoenix.

  Lady Gaga received the “Best Actress” nomination and won “Best Song” for “A Star is Born” last 2019 Academy Awards.

  “Joker: Folie à Deux” will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024.
