Rapper EZ Mil now finds himself in trouble after the chief executive of Lapulapu City in Cebu proposed to declare him unwelcome in the city, February 8, Monday.
Mayor Junard Chan said that he and the city council are considering to declare the emerging rapper persona non grata in their city after making false claim about the hero Lapulapu on his song entitled “Panalo.”
“We were hurt by this. This is a big insult to us. This is very unfair on our part that he changed the history. He mocked the person that we consider a hero,” Chan said.
“If his purpose was to become famous, this is not the right thing to do. You can achieve rhyming but do not make up your own story. It seems like he mocked us,” the mayor added.
Aside from the declaration, the mayor is also thinking of filinh charges againts the rapper.
