Lawyer of Britney’s father slams LA judge over conservatorship suspension

  Vivian Thoreen, a lawyer for Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, has recently commented on the conservatorship suspension decision, September 30, Friday.

  The comment was released after LA Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny has suspended conservatorship business roles of Jamie Spears over her daughter. The judged temporarily replaced him with an accountant suggested by Britney’s lawyer.

  “Respectfully, the court was wrong to suspend Mr. Spears, put a stranger in his place to manage Britney’s estate, and extend the very conservatorship that Britney begged the court to terminate earlier this summer,” Thoreen said in a statement.

  Thoreen described the decision as disappointing and a loss for Britney Spears. “For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required,” she added.
