The singer-songwriter from New Zealand Lorde has released a new track entitled ‘Stoned the Nail Salon,’ July 21, Wednesday.
‘Stoned at the Nail Salon’ is the second single off the upcoming third album titled ‘Solar Power.’ With this single, Lorde is pondering about mortality, growing up, and a life away from social media.
It features a simple production but vast and profound lyrics. “Got a wishbone drying on the windowsill in my kitchen just in case I wake up and realize I’ve chosen wrong. I love this life that I have… But I wonder sometimes what I’m missing,” she sings.
‘Solar Power’ album will be Lorde’s first release since 2017 after working with her ‘Melodrama.’ She made an album tour in 2018 and released a photo book about her travels to Antarctica in 2019.
