Marcelito Pomoy advances to ‘America’s Got Talent’ grand finals

• Marcelito Pomoy is now on his way to the grand finals of the America’s Got Talent after he earned standing ovation from all the judges Alesha Dixon, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell.

  He performed the seminfinals an Andrea Bocelli classic entitled “Time to Say Goodbye.” Airing on a Monday night (Tuesday in Manila), Pomoy once again surprised the audience anew with his talent in duet, singing both male and female portions of the song.

  “I gotta say that I believe that you have the best shot of winning this whole thing. This is the semifinals and you raised your game.” Mandel said. However, Cowell challenged the Filipino singer to “take a bigger risk because the surprise is now over.”

  Pomoy had become famous when he won the second season of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011 having the same unique talent.
