Mariah Carey, who’s always been in the spotlight during the season of holidays, stopped by Andy Cohen’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ where they played a game of ‘Does She Know Her?’ referring to her famous Jennifer Lopez diss according to MTV.

The singer was asked whether or not she knows today’s beloved young pop stars:

Lady Gaga: Yes. Gaga once came to one of her shows. “She was very sweet … and we had a nice conversation.”

Ariana Grande: Nope. “Honestly, I’m really not familiar.”

Taylor Swift: Yep. “Very nice girl. Met her once, she was really sweet.”

Madonna: Not really. “Uh, never had a conversation with her.”

Katy Perry: Yes. “Nice girl, she came to my show as well.”

Britney Spears: YES. “I love Britney Spears.”

Miley Cyrus: Maybe? “I think we met in a bathroom … I don’t know.”

During another segment, Cohen asked Carey about the ‘Stone Cold’ singer Demi Lovato. “I don’t know her either and so I wouldn’t say anything to her,” Carey said. “She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, ‘Here’s my opinion. What do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle shit, OK?”

Cohen then asked about Ariana Grande. “Honestly, I’m not familiar. I listen to hip-hop more than I listen to pop music,” Carey said.

Back in June, Demi Lovato defended Ariana Grande from comparisons with her and Mariah Carey. “The woman is mean for no reason.” Lovato said, referring to Carey. “Extremely talented? Yes. Superhuman? Possibly. Unnecessarily rude? Absolutely.”

Lovato was explicitly referring to Carey’s shade about her then-rival J-Lo.
