Music and Brains: Team PH sends four Pinoys to Euro Talent Festival in London

The Euro Talent Festival begins its seventh year competition in Europe with the London’s Stars of the Albion. For the past years, Filipinos have already won three awards from this international talent competition, namely: Denise Du Lagrosa, second place in 2019; Marlon Macabaya, Grand Prix also in 2019; and Rachel Gabreza, Grand Prix in 2018.
This year, the Philippines will be competing to achieve the highest award, the Grand Prix. This year’s team sends four talented Filipinos and will face 19 other delegates from different countries of the world from February 28 to March 1, 2020.
Abaham Azur from Nueva Ecija joined auditions of the ETF for Pop Music to grow more as a performer. This will be Azur’s first time to compete outside the country.
Hannah Faye Miguel hails from the province of Pampanga is a 12-year old student who fonds joining contests both on television and off cam, specifically in broadcasting and writing. She discovered auditions on Facebook and affirmatively accepted the competition.
Reign Macalinao who is from Laguna, a member of the DLSU – Laguna Campus’ Koro Lasalyano, recently bagged the DLSU Best Angklung Conductor at the 8th Angklung Competition in 2019.
Jin Aaliyah from Antipolo City, Rizal, a K-Pop fanatic and a singing champion in her school, won second place in the Philippine-Korean Cultural Exchange Festival in 2017. She desires to compete in X-Factor in United Kingdom.
