Nightbirde exits ‘America’s Got Talent’ to focus on cancer treatment

American vocalist Nightbirde has announced her decision to leave ‘America’s Got Talent’ competition to focus more on her battle against cancer, August 2, Monday.
On her Instagram, Jane Marczewski in real life, has shared a grayscale bald photo of her thanking her fans for their support and offering word of hope to them. “Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true,” she said.
“Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention. I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT,” she wrote.
“Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it—but we knew that already. Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I’ll be better soon. I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams,” Nightbirde added.
Nightbirde has been rewarded of a golden buzzer during her audition. She has wowed the judges and the audience with her original song, ‘It’s Okay.’ She also revealed that doctors advised her of only 2% chance of survival after cancer cells reached her lungs, spine, and liver.
