  American singer-songwriter and internet sensation Olivia Rodrigo has marked the first anniversary of her hit single ‘Drivers License,’ January 9, Sunday.

  Rodrigo took social media to mark the first year of the song that changed her life. “Happy first birthday to the little song that changed my whole life. I made this video a day or two after I wrote drivers license. Crazy to think how quickly life changes,” she wrote as a caption on a grayscale video of her singing.

  She took the chance as well to thank her fans for the overwhelming support. “Thank u to everyone who has supported me so tenderly. music is the most magical thing in the world,” she added.

  Drivers License, from the album ‘Sour,’ was released on January 8, 2021, debuted at the top spot on the Hot 100 — and it held that spot for eight straight weeks at the beginning of the year. The song also went viral on TikTok.
