Filipino-American artist Olivia Rodrigo had visited the White House to meet United States President Joseph Biden Jr., July 15, Thursday.
The ‘Driver’s License’ singer went to the White House and encouraged young people to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The singer had on her agenda for Wednesday a meeting with the US president and infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, as well as a session to record videos promoting vaccination.
“Thanks for stopping by, Olivia, and for using your voice to urge young people to get vaccinated. If we all do our part and get the COVID-19 vaccine, we can defeat this virus once and for all. Let’s do this,” said Biden on Instagram.
“Even if you are young and not immunocompromised, getting your covid vaccination is the best thing you can do for your health and your loved ones’ health. YOU have the power to save lives,” said Rodrigo on Instagram sharing her selfie with President Biden.
