Paramore returns to studio for first album in five years

  American rock band Paramore has gone back in the studio to record their first album in five years, Hayley Williams revealed, January 11, Tuesday.

  Williams has described the recent reconnection as ‘nerves quickly melted into relief.’ That’s the experience when they had reunited at a Nashville studio space for the upcoming album.

  “I’m always waiting for the moment for us to know we’re onto something new and we’re not just rehashing the same shit. We got to feel that feeling early on this time,” Williams said in an electronic mail sent to the Rolling Stone.

  Paramore’s last album was ‘After Laughter,’ which was released in 2017. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro.

  “Paramore feels like home.” Williams concluded. There were no further details disclosed about the upcoming album.
