Parokya ni Edgar releases first album in five years

  OPM band Parokya ni Edgar has dropped their first album in five years, entitled ‘Borbolen,’ with the single ‘Rosas,’ December 10, Friday.

  Some songs of the new album were written five years ago, explained by the band’s frontman, Chito Miranda. “‘Yung ibang kanta dito, sinimulan ko right after namin ilabas yung “Pogi Years Old” 5 years ago. Yung iba, sinulat at nirecord namin during the pandemic and was recorded and mixed via email and Google Drive…kumbaga pasahan lang ng files.🤟🏼😅 Yung isang kanta, kasama dapat sa “Bigotilyo” pero di pinayagan…pero ngayon, nilabas na rin namin (bahala na hahaha!)” Miranda said in an Instagram post.

  “Sari-saring kanta at iba’t-ibang panahon nabuo pero lahat bago,” he added.

  ‘Borbolen’ is the 10th studio album of Parokya ni Edgar. It is now available in all digital platforms.
