Former Beatle Paul McCartney confirmed that he is currently working on a new album according to Billboard.
During an interview with BBC Radio, McCartney said “I’m making a new album, which is great fun. I’m in the middle of that.”
McCartney’s upcoming album is being produced by Grammy award winning producer Greg Kurstin. “I’m working with a producer who I first worked with two years ago on a thing, a piece of music I’m doing for an animated film,” the former Beatle said.
McCartney praised Kurstin’s work after collaborating with Beck who got Best Album of the Year and Adele with Record of the Year. “And since then he went on to work with Beck and got best album of the year,” he continued. “Then he went on to work with Adele. He just got song of the year, record of the year with Adele. And just got producer of the year,” the singer added.
The release date of McCartney’s upcoming album has not yet been announced.
