Former Beatles bandmates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited in the studio for their upcoming music together according to the Rolling Stone.

Starr is currently working on a new album, a follow-up to 2015’s ‘Postcards from Paradise’. The former Beatle Paul McCartney will be making a guest appearance on Starr’s latest record.

The drummer revealed the news on social media:

“Thanks for coming over and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love,” Starr wrote on his Twitter.

Starr also posted a photo of him with McCartney and Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh from the same recording session.

It is the first time since 2010 that Starr and McCartney have worked together. The last time they collaborated was when McCartney played bass on Starr’s ‘Peace Dream’ and contributed vocals to ‘Walk With You’.
