Pilipinas Got Talent Winner Jovit Baldivino passes away at 29

    Jovit Baldivino, the first grand winner of reality talent competition show Pilipinas Got Talent, passed away at the age of 29 on Thursday, December 8, in Batangas City.

    According to an ABS-CBN news report, Jovit’s father Hilario Baldivino said that his son died in the hospital due to stroke complications, after being confined for six days.

    He also suffered a mild stroke last November 22. Jovit was treated in a Batangas hospital for five days before recovering at their family home. He was then invited to perform at a Christmas party in Batangas City last weekend, where he suffered yet another stroke.

    Camille Ann Miguel, Jovit’s wife, also grieved her husband’s death in a series of heartfelt Facebook posts. “Miss na miss na po kita, love ko (I already miss you, my love),” she captioned one video.

    Jovit used to sell siomai at a market after school to sustain his studies and help his family.     The Baldivino family is finalizing wake arrangements for Jovit at their home in Rosario, Batangas.
