Queen Nation wows Filipino fans

  The top American tribute band Queen Nation wowed the Filipino audience as they relive the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen.

  According to ABS-CBN News, Queen Nation performed at Lucena City and Cove Manila in Okada.

  The quartet is composed of Gregory Finsley as Freddie Mercury, Mike McManus as Brian May, Pete Burke as Roger Taylor, and Parker Combs as John Deacon. They all play their own instruments to recreate the sound of vintage Queen.

  “My mother is proud of me. She was a great fan of Queen, I knew then this is what i wanted to do!” said Finsley.

  The tribute band was formed in 2004 and before their show at the Cove Manila, the band got the chance to perform “We Will Rock You ” in Showtime.

  Pinoy Promoter Jessie Gonzales believes that the group will carry the musical torch of Freddie Mercury and Queen for many years.
