Queen tops as highest-charting album on Billboard in 38 years

  The Queen’s soundtrack “Bohemian Rhapsody” reaches number 3 while the “Greatest Hits I, II, & III: The Platinum Collection” deluges from 194-4.

  The Billboard 200 chart lists the most popular albums in the United States based on a soundtracks multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. This is in after 38 years that the Bohemian Rhapsody film soundtrack deluges 25-3 with 59,000 units earned by the end of the past week, according to Nielsen Music.

  Highlighting the Queen’s career, the Bohemian Rhapsody album is the companion album to the hit biopic movie.

  Bohemian Rhapsody is highest-reaching album of Queen since 1980 where it includes The Game with “Another One Bites the Dust” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”
