Raimund Marasigan and BLKD release a track dedicated to the UP community

  Rocker Raimund Marasigan and rapper BLKD released a track dedicated to the University of the Philippines (UP) Community and the UP Men’s Basketball Team according to ABS-CBN News.

  “Atin ‘To!” was produced and arranged by Rye Armamento. It was released last Tuesday in time for UP’s do-or-die match against Adamson Soaring Falcons. The title comes from Paul Desiderio’s fearless forecast last year.

  During an interview, Marasigan said the song was randomly made while he was hanging out with coach Bo Perasol.

  This track aims to celebrate more than just wins. “It’s really not about celebrating the achievement. It’s more of celebrating the life of the community and how it’s full of energy right now,” Armamento said.

  BLKD also added that it is not just the students and the faculty who celebrate UP’s victories but also the IKOT and TOKI drivers, residents, etc. He also mentioned that they are not only just a basketball team but a community as well.
