RCA drops previously unreleased 2016 Britney Spears track

• The RCA Records has dropped the unreleased 2016 track of Britney Spears entitled “Swimming in Stars,” December 2, Wednesday.

  “Swimming in Stars” was released to celebrate the 39th birthday of the pop superstar. It was recorded in 2016 for her album entitled “Glory.” The track was written by Alexei Misoul, Dan Book, and Matthew Koma.

  The lyrics go: “So let’s go/Swimming in the stars tonight/And we’ll go/Shimmer in the diamond lights/We’ll dive in/Headfirst, all the way down/In gravity’s arms we’ll drown/The world is ours.”

  According to its press release, aside from the digital release, the track will be available as a special 12-inch vinyl single and will include other unreleased Spears tracks.
