Rico Blanco recalls moment he fell in love Maris Racal

  Singer-songwriter Rico Blanco has opened up on how his relationship with the singer-actress Maris Racal has started, February 2, Wednesday.

  In a virtual media conference for ABS-CBN’s limited series entitled ‘The Goodbye Girl’ starring Angelica Panganiban, Blanco admitted that he did not have any feelings for Racal at first. This became possible despite working with each other in the past projects.

  “I think, definitely not the first time I met her. Definitely not when we were working on the song and recording. I take pride in my professionalism in the studio and no matter if I think the person that I’m working with is attractive or not, or even on the set when I’m doing acting,” the musician explained.

  “Ang gusto ko kay Maris is she doesn’t even realize it but nakaka-happy ‘yung vibe niya… In general positive, ang positive ng vibe niya. It brings out the best in me. Yung positive side ko nalalabas din kasi minsan nakakalimutan ko din na I’m playful pala.” He narrated.

  Racal has confirmed her relationship with Blanco in May 2021. The couple has collaborated on several songs namely, ‘Not For Me,’ in 2021 and ‘Abot Langit’ in 2019.
