  The National Artist for Music, Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano collaborate and join the #BasketOfHope cause of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), December 11, Friday.

  In a one-minuter video from UNICEF Philippines’ Facebook page, Cayabyab and Valenciano were seen singing ‘Paskong Walang Hanggan,’ composed by the prominent director Jose Javier Reyes.

  “Today, children are even more vulnerable. On top of the risk of COVID-19, they now face greater hurdles to receive education, immunization, basic necessities, and the support they need to enjoy full, healthy lives. But we believe that a better future for all is still possible—if we work together. With the Basket of Hope, everyone can pitch in and pass forward our hopes for the future through the children of our nation,” said UNICEF Philippines on their website.

  “Great things happen when we come together. We can do it too, for Filipino children. A better future is possible when we all pitch in,” the National Artist said in the video.
