Sarah Geronimo gets nominated for FAMAS

Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo is running for best actress for the 67th FAMAS Awards according to ABS-CBN News.
Geronimo’s acting in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean film “Miss Granny” did not go unnoticed.
Aside from Sarah Geronimo, the other nominees are Judy Ann Santos, Gabby Padilla, Perla Bautista, Angelica Panganiban, Glaiza de Castro, Iyah Mina, Nadine Lustre, Pokwang and Anne Curtis.
During an interview, the singer-actress said that she is grateful for the recognition. “Yung ma-nominate lang, okay na po ako doon. Pero sana, sana po,” she said.
The movie “Miss Granny” is about this woman who regains her 20’s after being photographed at a mysterious studio curiously called, Forever Young. She found her transformation as an escape to her problems including the rift with her children and grandchildren, whom she feels no longer value her.
After “Miss Granny”, Geronimo is set to star in another big-screen project and she did not disclose any other details.
