Sarah Geronimo represents PH in ASEAN-Japan Music Festival

Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo has once again represented the Philippines on the recent ASEAN-Japan Music Festival 2021, June 5, Saturday.
Streamed on YouTube with two parts, Geronimo has shared her performance of the hit ‘Ikot-ikot.’ Her piece can be seen on the 42nd minute of the first part.
“Music is a universal language that speaks to our soul through every stage of life. Music is very powerful. It can heal a wounded heart, uplift one’s spirit, and bring renewed hope. I do hope our music and performances can be a source of inspiration for all of you,” she said on her introductory message.
The recent festival was Geronimo’s second representation, her first was in 2018 where she performed ‘Kilometro’ and ‘Tala.’ She performed with artists from Japan and member countries of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
