  Pop singer Selena Gomez steps out in public after undergoing kidney transplant last summer according to US weekly.

  The ‘Hands To Myself’ was seen leaving her apartment in New York City while her boyfriend, Abel Tesfaye or popularly known as The Weeknd was also seen leaving the apartment shortly afterwards.

  Gomez, 25, received a kidney transplant from her best friend and fellow actress Francia Raisa. On September 14, the singer posted on Instagram that featured Ralsa and Gomez holding hands while in hospital beds.

  In the post, Gomez captioned: “I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health.”

  Gomez received multiple support from fellow singers like Kesha, Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga and more.
