The wife of the lead vocalist speaks up a day after the passing of her husband Jamir Garcia. The lead vocalist died last November 26, 2020. He was found lifeless inside his home in Quezon City.
On November 27, she held a Facebook live video and told the story behind the passing of her husband.
She expressed how she wanted people to remember her late husband. She also mentioned that her husband “did not deserve” the allegations and “fake news” that were spread about her husband. No name was mentioned during the Facebook live.
Before ending the video, she thanked all the loyal fans of Slapshock throughout these years.
The next day, Slapshock bassist Lee Nadela also broke his silence to respond to Jaya’s accusations.
He believes that it was directed to him and Jerry Basco who proposed the disbandment of the band last October 2020.
He believes that her allegations have no concrete basis.
“We will answer all your baseless accusations and refute it with concrete evidence, na dapat sa korte ipepresenta.
