The members of the Korean supergroup BTS has been appointed by South Korean President Moon Jae-in as special presidential envoys, September 14, Tuesday.
BTS members were appointed ‘Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generation & Culture.’ With this, they were given envoy certificates, Blue House fountain pens and diplomatic passports.
The K-pop stars accompanied President Moon on his diplomatic trip to the United States from September 19 to 23 to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
The group served as honorary speakers and delivered a speech to the youth across the globe promoting, urging everyone to get vaccinated. They also performed ‘Permission to Dance’ at UNGA event called ‘SDG Moment 2021’ last September 20.
