Stevie Wonder to undergo kidney transplant

  Music legend Stevie Wonder announced that he will take a break from performing to undergo kidney transplant soon.

  The 69-year-old singer made the announcement after his performance in the British Summer Time concert in London.

  “I am going to be doing three shows then taking a break. I am having surgery. I am going to have a kidney transplant at the end of September this year,” Wonder said.

  Reassuring fans that he will be okay, he added, “I came here to give you my love and to thank you for yours. You are not gonna hear no rumors about us. I am good.”
