Taylor Swift announces new album ‘Midnights’

  Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has announced her tenth studio album ‘Midnights’ during her acceptance speech at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.

  Swift made the surprise announcement when she won her second award – ‘Video of the Year’ for ‘All Too Well (10 Minutes Version) (Taylor’s Version),’ “My brand-new album comes out October 21,” she said during her speech. “I will tell you more at midnight, the singer added.”

  According to Taylor Swift, ‘Midnights’ will tell the “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life.” The singer has already unveiled the album art, while track titles have not yet been revealed.

  The last album Taylor Swift released was Evermore in 2020. In 2021 and 2022, the singer has released re-recordings, dubbed as ‘Taylor’s Version’ of her hit albums ‘Fearless’ and ‘Red.’
