Pop star Taylor Swift won’t be submitting her her 2021 re-recorded album of her 2008 second studio release from Grammy and CMA awards contention, Billboard reported, July 20, Tuesday.
“After careful consideration, Taylor Swift will not be submitting Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in any category at this year’s upcoming Grammy and CMA Awards,” Republic Records‘ representative said in a statement.
On the other hand, Swift’s ninth album titled ‘Evermore,’ released in December 2020, will be submitted to Grammys for consideration in all eligible categories.
The Recording Academy, which presents the Grammys, and the Country Music Assn. declined to comment on Swift’s recent action.
