Taylor Swift releases new single “The Archer”

• Taylor Swift has surprised all her fans by revealing her brand new single in the middle of an Instagram live video on July 24.

  “The Archer” is co-produced by Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff. It was first teased in the music video of “You Need to Calm Down” single having a GIF of an arrow to hit a target.

  “Dark side, I search for your dark side/But what if I’m alright, right, right, right here?/And I cut off my nose just to spite my face/Then I hate my reflection for years and years,” Swift sings.

  This is the fifth track and according to fans, it bears a significant tone that Swift is putting her most honest, emotional and personal lines in that song.
