The Voice 11 Recap: Top 11 live performances

  The Top 11 artists of The Voice Season 11 battles it out with hopes of moving onto the Top 10 according to Entertainment Weekly.

  Coaches Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton showed full support to their teams and made sure that they are at the top of their game for the live performance.

  Ali Caldwell of Team Miley, kicked off the night with Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5’. Coaches Shelton and Levine were both impressed with Caldwell’s performance where she proved her versatility.

  Sundance Head from Team Blake performed a Key’s penned ‘No One’. Head’s version of the song was powerful and very emotional. In fact, Keys said that she wished Head was on her team.

  Next was Aaron Gibson of Team Miley who sang Nine Inch Nails hit ‘Hurt’. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine like the choice of song, but the song didn’t let him stood up.

  Team Blake’s Courtney Harrell performed ‘What I Did For Love’ by A Chorus Line. Harrell’s range was impressive which brought something different to Team Blake.

  Harrell’s performance was followed by Josh Gallagher of Team Adam’s who sang Brett Eldredge’s ‘Drunk On Your Love’.

  After Gallagher, Billy Gilman of Team Adam sang Adele’s hit song ‘All I Ask’. Gilman’s musical transition from country to pop really made a mark in his performance.

  Christian Cuevas of Team Alicia went up next singing ‘Rosanna’ by Toto. Cyrus praised Cuevas’ performance as well as the singer’s energy. Coach Keys was proud of Cuevas, calling the singer’s voice “crystal”.

  Team Blake’s Austin Allsup sang Bob Seger’s ‘Turn The Page’. Allsup’s rendition of the song was very emotional wherein he was able to connect to the audience. All four coaches were really impressed by the singer’s performance.

  Allsup’s performance was followed by Team Miley’s Darby Walker with a performance of ‘You Don’t Own Me’ by Leslie Gore. Walker took a different take to the song, singing it in her own sound and personality.

  Up next was Brenden Fletcher of Team Adam who sang Bruce Springsteen’s classic hit ‘The River’.

  Team Alicia closed the night with We McDonald’s performance of Rihanna penned song ‘Love On The Brain’. Keys praised the young singer’s performance as she ends the night strong.
