Twitter lists PH 2nd in Top 20 countries where K-pop is most talked about

  Social media platform Twitter has listed the Philippines on number two spot where K-pop is most talked about, August 10, Tuesday.

  The Philippines, on the second spot, has gained two places from last year’s result where Thailand and South Korea were on the second and third spot, respectively. Indonesia remained on the top spot. Together in the top 10 are United States, Brazil, Malaysia, Mexico, Japan, and India.

  On the same note, the Philippines is now the third country with most K-pop fans on Twitter, next to Indonesia and Japan. From the fourth spot to the tenth are South Korea, United States, Brazil, Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, and India.

  The most mentioned artist is BTS, followed by the female group BLΛƆKPIИK.

  Twitter has also revealed that 7.5 billion tweets about the K-pop were posted within a year across the platform. It’s getting bigger every year, it added.
